Frey Warranty

At Frey Bikes, we stand behind the quality of our products. Your Frey Bike comes with a 2-year warranty from the date of registration, covering defects in materials and workmanship for original equipment. Please note that free accessories are not covered under warranty.

Registration Requirement

To activate your warranty, register your Frey Bike within 14 days of receiving it. Failure to do so may result in your warranty claim being denied. [Visit this link to register your bike.]


Warranty Periods

Component Warranty Period
Frame (including parts)  2 years
Motor system 2 years
Battery pack 2 years
Charger 2 years
Other bike components* 1 year

*Consumable and wearable parts, such as tires, tubes, brake pads, pedals, saddles, grips, etc., are not covered.


Subsequent Ownership

If you are not the original owner of the bike, the warranty for the frame, motor system, and battery pack may still apply under these conditions:

  1. The original 2-year warranty period has not expired.
  2. You have the original purchaser’s name and order number.

Submit the original purchaser’s information along with your details to Frey Bikes to update the warranty.


Warranty Coverage

Frame

  • Covered by a 2-year replacement warranty.
  • Labor costs for part transfers are not included.
  • Replacements may use stock with minor cosmetic imperfections.

Exclusions:

  • Corrosion, paint fade, scratches, and impact marks.
  • Damage caused by impact, drilling, welding, or other modifications.

Motor System (Display, motor, wiring harness, throttle, speed sensor)

  • Covered by a 2-year warranty.
  • Only Frey can assess and determine defects.

Exclusions:

  • Accidents, misuse, or abnormal use (e.g., racing, stunt riding).
  • Unauthorized modifications.
  • Cosmetic damages such as scratches and dents.
  • Improper use or maintenance not in accordance with the manual.

Batteries

  • Covered by a 2-year prorated warranty.
  • Only Frey can determine battery defects.

Exclusions:

  • Charging with unsuitable chargers.
  • Signs of tampering or broken seals.
  • Damage from improper storage, water ingress, or extreme environmental conditions.

Other Bike Components

  • Covered by a 1-year warranty (excludes consumable and wearable parts).

Exclusions:

  • Corrosion or natural wear and tear.
  • Cosmetic damage not caused by Frey.
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or unauthorized repairs.

Claim Process

Warranty Claims

To make a claim under warranty, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Frey Bikes at support@frey-bike.com.
  2. Provide proof of purchase, along with a description, photos, or videos of the issue.
  3. Frey will provide free replacement parts for covered issues.
    • Note: Labor costs for repairs are not reimbursed.

Transportation Damage Claims

In rare cases, goods may be damaged during transit. If this happens:

  1. Contact support@frey-bike.com within 3 days of delivery.
  2. Include photo or video evidence of the damage.
