Mukkpet Warranty Policy

At Mukkpet, we offer up to a 2-year warranty for our bikes, covering most system issues and factory defects. Please review the details below to understand the coverage for different components and the conditions of the warranty.


Warranty Coverage

2-Year Warranty

  • Motor: Covers issues such as internal gear breaks, bearing damage, hub shell cracking, coil burns, magnet dislocation, or excessive noise preventing normal operation.
  • Battery: Covers failure to work, except for issues caused by unauthorized modifications or improper usage.
  • Controller: Covers short circuits, burnout, and protection function failures.
  • Charger: Covers inability to charge, excluding damage caused by unauthorized modifications.
  • Display: Covers issues such as failure to turn on or display correctly.
  • Frame: Covers rust or damage due to manufacturing defects.

Note: Damages caused by misuse, such as unauthorized modifications or improper usage, are not covered under the warranty.


1-Year Warranty

  • Suspension Fork & Handlebar: Covers issues such as sealing failure, fractures, or cracks.
  • Switch: Covers functionality issues.
  • Crank: Covers issues rendering it non-functional.
  • Throttle: Covers operational failures.
  • Expansion Brake: Covers functionality problems.
  • Front and Middle Axle: Covers defects due to manufacturing issues.
  • Rim & Hub: Covers bending or breaking due to factory defects.

Note: Misuse or improper use of these components voids the warranty.


Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

The warranty will not cover the following:

  1. Misuse: Commercial or rental uses, dangerous acts (e.g., stunts), or riding on abnormal road conditions.
  2. Unauthorized Modifications: Disassembly, faulty installation, or maintenance not performed by Mukkpet.
  3. Accidents: Damage caused by traffic accidents or environmental extremes (e.g., temperature, humidity, lightning).
  4. Acts of God: Floods, fires, or similar uncontrollable external events.
  5. Anti-Rust Layer Damage: Misuse leading to rust or corrosion.
  6. Wear and Tear: Natural wear items, such as brake pads, chains, sprockets, shifters, and bearings, are not covered.

Additionally, any unauthorized repairs or modifications will automatically void the warranty. If unauthorized modifications have been made, you must disclose them when seeking service.


Service Process

If you experience an issue covered by the warranty, please contact us at support@mukkpetbike.com with the following information:

  • Platform of purchase (e.g., Amazon, Brand Store) and seller name (if applicable).
  • Order number or ID.
  • Your email address and shipping address used for the purchase.
  • Photos or short videos of the issue, along with a brief description of the problem.

Parts and Labor

Mukkpet may provide both parts and labor for warranty claims. For easily replaceable components, you may be directed to install them yourself with provided instructions.

  • If the defective part needs to be returned, Mukkpet will inform you of the process.
  • Labor costs related to DIY part replacement may not always be covered.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If your bike is no longer under warranty, or the issue is not covered, you can still purchase replacement parts directly from Mukkpet. We offer competitive pricing for our parts. Please contact us at support@mukkpetbike.com for further details.


No Returns Policy

We do not accept bike returns. If you experience issues with your bike, our customer support team is available to assist you at support@mukkpetbike.com.

Note: Warranty coverage was upgraded to 2 years for orders placed on or after August 9, 2024. For orders placed before this date, the warranty period is 1 year.
